I know what it’s like to want a healthier version of the current you. That is why I am passionate about helping you optimize your health. I wholeheartedly believe that what we fuel our bodies with, physically, mentally and emotionally, makes a big impact on our overall health and well-being. Though sometimes the immediate need is to relieve symptoms, taking the time to uncover the causes and contributing factors to your health concerns will address the issue from a deeper rooted and longer-lasting place.

After discovering naturopathic medicine and seeing a naturopathic doctor in my early adult years, I uncovered possible reasons for why I was feeling constipated and bloated, and why I was breaking out with acne regularly. I became aware of foods I was sensitive to, and made necessary changes to the foods I was eating in order to improve my health. Since then, I have implemented several dietary adjustments and have noticed more consistent energy, less acne, improved digestion and better periods.

In my fourth year of naturopathic medical school, I began experiencing anxiety-related chest pain. I realized that my body was telling me something, but I hadn’t been listening to the signs that it was time to address my stress and anxiety. Through the comprehensive approach of naturopathic medicine, including the use of herbs, nutrients, dietary changes, homeopathy and acupuncture, my health improved. I also began to focus on my mind and my heart, addressing the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects affecting my well-being. Though I continue to navigate managing stress and anxiety, I feel empowered to use the tools I’ve acquired to help patients experiencing similar health concerns.

My approach to working with patients is to be present, to hear your story, and to understand who you are and why you may be experiencing your current health concerns. This information then directs us to explore what needs to be optimized and nurtured so you can begin to heal and return to a healthier you. Through education, support, and guidance, my focus is to help you move towards a greater sense of health and well-being.
